Mount Heavy Mirror Over Stairs

For one of my designer clients I had to mount a heavy mirror over a stairway. It started with a lot of math to get my marks in the correct spot. I used d-rings and picture hooks. Some mirrors come with picture wire but if it is at all heavy you should not use the wire because it can unravel itself from the weight.

While one person held one end while standing down the stairs, I hung over the banisters and hooked one side. Then I ran around and hooked the other side. Sometimes a plank to a ladder or scaffolding is needed.
